Easy to set up and requires 3 AAAs (remote controller) and 3 AAs (for the MiBro robot) to cover both the remote controller and the actual robot himself.Ģ. He is basic but good enough quality for a younger child to be entertained.ġ.
Really rad robots plus#
This robot was purchased as a Christmas gift for my son, and he did not disappoint - He had us all entertained during the day! He comes with a remote control with 360 degree movement control, plus listening, dancing, speaking and a microphone. Added to this he does a fair waiter service for snack and small items, so he has earned this recommendation.I would DEFINITELY recommend MiBro as a lovely interactive toy for children!!!!

Works best when batteries are to full capacity, so this is worth bearing in mind to not allow them to deplete as he becomes sluggish on movements in particular.CONCLUSION-MiBro has an enchantment factor - he is cute and talkative, so he does have some entertainment factor too!He certainly had the whole family amused over the holidays, even though the features are basic, he still is great fun for children (and adults too). Battery life as always with kid's toys is short-lived - maybe using rechargeable ones is best :)5. Longevity of use, with more features he would be popular for longer - maybe ability to link to a MicroBit for example?4. Would be nice if he had a camera too, for increased mischief and fun factor.lol3. Sound transmission scope and quality could be improved so it works further away.2. He keeps going even when he topples over :)CONS-1. Not bad movement as the device uses tank-like tracks, so can navigate slight inclines, carpet or uneven flooring.5. Nice tray feature so he can transport items from one location to another.4. Has two channels for use, so if one has interference you can switch.3. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 January 2019 And due to the space issue, I probably won’t even buy it then.MiBro was a HIT on Christmas Day!!!! (.and beyond) I really don’t have the space for it…and it might just end up at Target for $50 eventually anyway. AND, I cancelled my Pulse preorder, honestly. It should probably be $50 or $60…maybe less. I also thought the Tonka tie-in was fun.Īt face value, I agree with you that this thing should not cost $100. Simply put, it was going to be the least expensive way of getting an official G1 Devy mold. I justified it based on the price of an official G1 Devastator. How does one justify this to themselves? What about this makes it worth that price point to you? I'm sure I'm coming off as a dick about this, but I don't mean to be.

This one to me is completely nostalgia driven extortion. I've gone to bat in other threads defending Hasbros new mainline pricing too. At 50$ I could understand it novelty/nostalgia. I simply asked how people justify 100$ in their minds for this recolor/re-release of it. Is the image of it next to CW Abominus not showing? Anyways here it is again just in case.įor the record I didn't ask anyone to defend the G1 toy either. I actually paid under 50$ shipped for mine but that's been awhile ago.

I was referring to this down sized CW KO.
